Předmět se zaměřuje na zplyňovací a pyrolýzní procesy vč. možností využití výstupních produktů v energetice a chemickém průmyslu. Součástí je rovněž problematika spalování pevných a plynných alternativních paliv a metody stanovení jejich fyzikálních a chemických vlastností. Doktorand se v rámci studia nebude věnovat celé šíři předmětu, ale jen jedné z jeho částí – s ohledem na téma dizertační práce.

Subject syllabus:

1. Combustion of alternative gaseous fuels 2. Combustion of alternative solid fuels in the fluidized bed 3. Pyrolysis processes 4. Gasification processes 5. Methods of determination of physical and chemical properties of mixed gaseous fuels 6. Methods of determination of fuel properties of solid fuels 7. Mathematical simulations of combustion of alternative gases and their validation 8. Fuels interchangeability Topics for detailed study will be selected based on the focus of the dissertation thesis.
