Subject aims expressed by acquired skills and competences
Explain and learn student principles of production technical documentation. Be able to read and create common engineering drawing, documents and reports. Mastering the rules and basic procedure of engineering documentation production, on area machine-industries, building and first of all electrotechnical. Obtain the overview at technical professional standards. Manage the bases handling of software CAD system.

Summary
Preparation of documents used in electrotechnology, mechanical and civil engineering as well as graphs and proceedings from measurement are studied.

Lectures:
- Technical standardization and its purpose; Types of standards; Preferred numbers and number series.
- Electrical diagrams and symbols; The division according to the method of drawing and according to the purpose of use (block diagram, circuit diagrams, situational diagrams).
- Basics of imaging; Axonometry; Rectangular projection; Scales.
- Sections and cross-sections and their marking; Partial sections; Image interruption; Details; Simplification; Marking of technical materials; Prescribing of materials and semi-finished products.
- Dimensioning on technical drawings: Dimensioning lines; Methods of dimensioning; Principles of dimensioning; Technological processes.
- Imaging of mechanical components (threads, bolts, nuts, pads, screw connections, pegs, wedges, grooves, cotter pins, shafts, bearings, etc.).
- Surface quality of components; Roughness, and surface treatment; Heat treatment.
- System of Tolerances ISO; Hole basis and shaft basis systems.
- General rules for processing technical documentation; Technical report.
- Computer processing of technical documentation.
