Student know basic characteristic of synchronous and DC machines and applies this know-how with the view of theirs proposal, testing, diagnostics and use.

Subject electrical machines II deal with theory of rotation machines, especially of synchronous and DC mashines. Meaning subject rests in adoption primary objective information on principles of construction and using.

Full Participation on laboratory excercises (participation in laboratory exercises is contingent graduation skill about safeness work in laboratory, that is of conducted by at first semesters week. All protocols of laboratory works. Successful credit examination paper. Successful completion of the subject Electrical Machines I.

Subject syllabus:

Lectures: Basic teory of rotating mashines. Induction mashines. Induction motor and generator. Induction motor, terms of use. Fusing and diagnostics. Synchronous mashines. Synchronous generators. DC mashines. DC motors and generators. Special types of rotation mashines. Projects: Project consists of elaboration of protocols from laboratory excercises, with values, diagrams and evaluation of results and terminal work by students of combined study.
