Subject aims expressed by acquired skills and competences

The student is fully acquainted with the design, operation and management of off-grid energy systems. The graduate is also acquainted with the parameters and properties of individual components of off-grid systems and is able to implement basic diagnostics methods of off-grid systems. The graduate will acquire basic knowledge about selected types of renewable energy sources.

Summary

The content of the subject is focus on the basic information about topologies and concepts of off-grid energy systems. During semester are discussed the parameters of the individual components of the whole system with respect to their operating characteristics. Students are acquainted with the basic methods for diagnosing the status of individual components of off-grid systems.

Way of continuous check of knowledge in the course of semester

The student passes the measurement reports and passes the final test. 4 reports, each report for 10 points - a minimum of 5 points for each Test 60 points - at least 30 points
