To define basic electrical power terms. To relate produce of electrical power in diferent types of power plants. To describe basic electrical parameters of lines. To list failure states in electrical networks. To explain basic principles of power factor correction. To discriminate loses in electrical distribution. To outline Terms Power Quality.

Summary

The subject deals with design of power engineering systems, electrical networks in constant load and transients. The subject also includes above all applications of schemes of electrical stations, configuration of electrical networks and system solution of electrical protections and protection of electrical appliances.
