Subject aims expressed by acquired skills and competences

After taking this class student is able to: define chosen special terminology from the area of lighting, describe and explain complicated calculating methods while dealing with lighting systems, calculate quality data interrelated to suggested system, interpret findings and engineer thinking together with intelligent control systems.

Summary

In the theoretical part of the class we deal with application of modern light sources and luminaires to outdoor and indoor space. There is emphasis on the new calculating methods of luminances, illuminances and glares. There are explained principals of intelligent operating systems.

Lectures: Man, light, environment Influenced by external influences visual organ Parameters of light sources Effects of lighting systems European standards for the design of artificial lighting European standards for the design of public lighting, lighting outdoor sports Selected Topics in Light Metering New approaches need to be dazzled Twilight osv.soustav, reducing energy consumption Intelligent osv.soustav Maintenance of lighting and its impact on the lighting project. Calculations of light vector, spherical and cylindrical illuminance Economic evaluation of lighting systems. Exercise: Home Project interior lighting Entering the project, introduction of computer technology Calculation of assigned projects according to a given program Daylight Project - Introduction Entering the project, introduction of computer technology Lighting calculations using Public Lighting Project - Introduction Entering the project introduction to computers Lighting calculations using Lighting lamps - Introduction Entering the project introduction to computers Lighting calculations using Evaluation of individual projects Projects: Development of calculation program. Laboratory measurements and their processing in the form of written reports.
