Subject aims expressed by acquired skills and competences
Be able to reproduce and apply theory of frequency control in Transmission grid system. Be able to reproduce and apply theory of voltage control in transmission and distribution networks. Be able to reproduce and apply theory of transformer, compensator and generator function with view to voltage control. Can use reliability computations in relation to electric power system (EPS) control (global reliability characteristics).

Summary
Subject deals with frequency control in EPS and with algorithms of frequency control. Further it contents voltage control in all voltage levels, theory of function of transformer, compensator and generator in relation to voltage control. Subject also deals with grid code, relation between reliability and electric power system control and with global reliability characteristics of electric power supply.
