Subject aims expressed by acquired skills and competences

After passing this subject student is able to practise basic projects of electrical substations (including auxiliary and accompanying devices) and electrical lines and he is able to apply obtained knowledge in technical practice, student is able to interpret obtained knowledge to other technical workers.

Summary

In this subject are summarized practical pieces of knowledge from operation of electrical distribution equipment that are updated with newest science pieces of knowledge (e.g. application of neural networks, bi-directional transmissions in electrical power engineering).

Lectures: Methods of load progress determination Application of neural networks for load prediction Electrical substations - basic scheme of electrical substations - busbar Electrical substations - basic scheme of electrical substations - branches Basic principles of distribution equipment designing Basic principles of up to 1000 kV distribution equipment designing. Modern conception of distribution equipment designing.
