Subject aims expressed by acquired skills and competences
The aim of this course is to acquaint students with the basic sense and principles of the public service, administration and municipal government in the local, regional and state level. Students will be acquainted with the present organisational scheme of the public service and with the historical development.

Summary
The course contains the characteristics and conditions of working the municipalities. There is detailed division of income and expenditures of the municipal and regional budgets and the state budget as well.
There is an individual lecture focused on the public service system in several EU countries. Students will be acquainted with the problems of regional politics in the Czech republic due to close relation between the public service and regional politics.
Significant part will be devoted to building code and its application.
