Subject aims expressed by acquired skills and competences

1. Students will be able to identify and model the behaviour of mechatronical systems. The aim of this course is to make model of mechatronical systems in the Matlab Simulink environment and to correctly interpret the results of the numerical simulation. 2. Students will manage to compile a model of electrical networks with different types of electrical loads and to model the states of the networks using ATP environment including the visualisation of the modelled states and its evaluation.

Way of continuous check of knowledge in the course of semester

• Reports from each simulation processed on the base of simulated values from these modelling of the problems and their subsequent processing, completing and assessing. • Continuous verifying of student knowledge in the numerical exercises in a form of debate and inquiries to achieve student active participations in study process. Identify, deduce and search of problem solving and their interpretation by students. • Tests from numerical exercises, eventually from chosen theoretical circuits • Term work and projects on a given theme on the basis of selection, investigation, ordering and final compilation of facts and their processing into final form of given theme.
