Subject aims expressed by acquired skills and competences

1. Aim subject is introducing students with modern proceeding for processing electro technical documentation. After graduation this subject regaining school leaver practical experience and view of production system CAE and will be able selected products practically use. During semester students creates self practically electro technical project. Students will be able after graduation subject use software product specified for processing project documentation e.g. Eplan, Engineering Base, Sizer, Sichr apod. 2. Students learn effectively use as modern resources for production electro technical documentation.

This subject contains practical meeting with design of technical documentation by the help of commonly used SW products. There is expanded area of CAE for applications in CAD, CAP and CAT pro projecting and creating of documentation, calculation, technical preparation and production.

Way of continuous check of knowledge in the course of semester

• Continuous verifying of student knowledge in the exercises in a form of debate and inquiries to achieve student active participations in study process. Identify, deduce and search of problem solving and their interpretation by students. • Tests from chosen theoretical circuits • Project on a given theme on the basis of selection, investigation, ordering and final compilation of facts and their processing into final form of given theme.

Subject syllabus:

Lectures: 1. Basic principles and rules of design. Introduction to engineering standards. 2. Requirements for Quality Management System - Quality Management System ISO 9001 system for marking equipment, seats and components. Processing and project progress (demand, offer, purchase, own the project, project economics). 3. Computer systems design, data formats, systems engineering, computer peripherals. 4. Designing with the support of software systems (EPLAN, RUPLAN, AutoCAD, etc.), support programs for design and design documentation. 6. Procedures of documentation EPLAN, description of output data from the EPLAN product. 5. Familiarization with the structure EPLAN, basics of EPLAN software. 7. Dimenzioning of belay elements, selectivity protection, sizing components, switchgear design, use of computer programs. 8. Design of motor terminals, and fuse sizing of cable lines, using electronic design selection of rulers, searching and reading of electronic catalogs. 9. Design of controlled drives, frequency converter design an appropriate program, using SIZER. 10. Measurement and control, programmable logic controllers (PLC), characteristic of most widely used products. 11. Lighting design, socket wiring, surge protection, programs for lighting design. 12. Principles of safety in design, standards, safety relay, purpose and uses. 13. Revision of electrical equipment,test equipment, putting into operation, test and running the operation, delivery and customer documentation, warranty and service conditions. Projects: Each student will address the individual semester project electrical documentation specified object, a technological unit, etc. Students may be given voluminous project, several students will be divided into individual component parts, so that the teacher was strictly specified range for individual students, but students would have led to concerted teamwork. Theoretical exercise: 1. Introduction, course completion requirements, basic orientation in the technical standardization. 2. Working with electronic catalogs, sizing of cable lines, ruler for electronic engine Llads, design of regulated power. 3. Selection of a suitable PLC principles for the design and use of equipment measurement and control. 4. Designing lighting systems and power distribution. 5. Safety relay selection strategy, security technology zařícení, protecting people and property against electric shock. 6. Individual protocols, cold and hot tests, inspection report, delivery protocols, service conditions. Computer laboratory: 1. Basic introduction to the EPLAN. Establishing a project structure marking device, location and components. 2. Basics of Design in EPLAN product. 3. Entering semester project. Graphic processing of the project. 4. How to create an environment in Eplan, generating a cross-reference list of services, generating terminals, connections and cables. 5. Preparation of generating article, order forms, bills of materials, generation of SPS cross-links. 6. Control stage of the semester project. Design elements of safety gear, securing control of selectivity. 7. Submitting the semester project.
