Subject aims expressed by acquired skills and competences
Students acquire basic knowledge in various areas of electrical engineering to enable good orientation in electrical engineering and the ability of professional communication. The acquired knowledge can be used in a subsequent study of following special subjects.

Summary
Students are acquainted with basic questions of electrical circuits and electricity distributions, basic knowledge of magnetic field, semiconductor equipments, principles and operating performances of electrical instruments and machines, grounding in logical control and safety logical circuits, production of electrical energy and its distribution including basic standards for dimensioning and protection of circuits, electric heating. Teaching also includes technical rules and standards in the field of design of protection against electrical current injury.

Reports from each measurement processed on the base of measured values from these measurements and their subsequent processing, completing and assessing (max. 14 points)
Continuous verifying of student knowledge in the numerical exercises in a form of debate and inquiries to achieve student active participations in study process. Identify, deduce and search of problem solving and their interpretation by students.
