The student must after completing the course to understand of fundamental physical processes in electromagnetism. Subject prepare theoretical bases from the area of electromagnetic processes to students and make them into problematic of marginal exercises solving

Summary

Fundamental properties of the electromagnetic field and matter. Solution of static, stationary and quasistationary fields. Poyting's theorem, balance of the electromagnetic field energy, power and energy in complex symbolics. Analytical methods, numerical methods. Shype optimization of electromagnetic problems using the finite element method. Couple fields. Electrodynamics, waveguides.

Way of continuous check of knowledge in the course of semester

• Reports from each measurement processed on the base of measured values from these measurements and their subsequent processing, completing and assessing. • Continuous verifying of student knowledge in the numerical exercises in a form of debate and inquiries to achieve student active participations in study process. Identify, deduce and search of problem solving and their interpretation by students. • Tests from numerical exercises, eventually from chosen theoretical circuits • Term work and projects on a given theme on the basis of selection, investigation, ordering and final compilation of facts and their processing into final form of given theme.

Maxwell Equation in Vacuum, Fields and Sources, Coulomb´sLaw, Gauss´s Law, Equations for Electrostatics and the Scalar Potential, Boundary-Value Problems, Laplace equation, Induction and definition, Biot a nd Savart LawFaraday´s law, Mutual inductantes, Energy in the electromagnetics, Electromagnetics waves.
