Subject aims expressed by acquired skills and competences

Aim subject is introducing students with modern proceeding for processing electro technical documentation. After graduation this subject regaining school leaver practical experience and view of production system CAE and will be able selected products practically use. During semester students creates self practically electro technical project. Students will be able after graduation subject use software product specified for processing project documentation e.g. Eplan, Engineering Base, Sizer, Sichr apod. Students learn effectively use as modern resources for production electro technical documentation.

Summary

This subject contains practical meeting with design of technical documentation by the help of commonly used SW products. There is expanded area of CAE for applications in CAD, CAP and CAT pro projecting and creating of documentation, calculation, technical preparation and production.

Way of continuous check of knowledge in the course of semester

• Continuous verifying of student knowledge in the exercises in a form of debate and inquiries to achieve student active participations in study process. Identify, deduce and search of problem solving and their interpretation by students. • Tests from chosen theoretical circuits • Project on a given theme on the basis of selection, investigation, ordering and final compilation of facts and their processing into final form of given theme.

Subject syllabus:

Lectures: 1. Introduction, acquainting with contens of subject, basic principles and standards in the field of designing. 2. Requirements on system of management of quality-ISO 9001 (system of quality proceedings, system of devices, spaces and components markings. 3. Processing and running of project in phase of realization (offer, demand, order,personal realization of the project, project economics). 4. omputer systems in projection, data formats, systems for engineering activity, periphery. 5. Projection with the SW systems support (Eplan, Ruplan, WSCAD, AutoCAD,CADELEC extension), supporting programs for projection and project documentation processing. 6. Identification with Eplan structure, bases work with Eplan program system Procedure formation of documentation in Eplan, output data description from Eplan 7. Protection devices dimensioning, protection selectivity, components dimensioning, switchboard design, utilization of computing programs (Pavouk, Sichr) 8. Motor outlets projection, dimensioning and protection of cable circuits, design by the help of electronic selective rulers, catalogues sarching and reading. 9. Controlled drives projection, design of suitable frequency convertor with usage of PFAD/PATH PLus. 10. Measuring and regulation, programmable logic controllers (PLC), chracteristic of most widely used products. 11. Lighting projection, socket mains, over-voltage protective gears, programs for proposal of lighting (Dimensioning, inside lighting, Wils). 2. Safeness fundamentals in projetion, standards, security relay, purpose and means of using. 13. Electric devices revisions, device activation to the running, device examinations, trial and running-in operation, assignment of the works and documentation to client, guarantee and service conditions. Exercises: 1. Introduction, conditions of subject graduation, basic orientation in technical standardization. 2. Course of project processing, individual planning stages. 3. Setting of individual semestral work. 4. Work with catalogs, dimensioning examples of cable lead, power ruler for motor terminals, design of controlled drive, programm PFAD/PATH Plus. 5. Verification of work in process and tutorial of examined semestral works. 6. Suitable PLC selection, fundamentals for proposal and using of device I&C. 7. Lighting device and socket mains project, programme Wils. 8. Selection strategy of security relays, guard of safeness of technology, consumer wishes, persons and property protection before injury. 9. Proceeding of particular, cold and warm examinations, auditor´s reports, maintenance conditions. 10. Analysis of resignet semestral works. Projects: Project is processed semestral work, which solves engaged task containing e.g.: 1. Processing of documetation of engaged drive, proposal and dimensioning components. 2. Projection of convertor for controlled drive with the aid of select software. 3. Documentation processing of lighting with the aid of selected software. 4. Projecting of protective elements on lead by the help of selected software. It is supposed processing in product EPLAN at all projects, evetually in student select sofware. Computer labs: 1. Basic identification with EPLAN system. 2. Designing principles in Epaln product (acquaint with environment, project foudation, structures of device denotation,seats and components, schemata graphic proposal, symbols editing, frames and title-pages, contact designs og contactors and relays. 3. Generation means in Eplan (generations difference of potential legacies and connection lists, clamps generations, line-up and cables, articles generation, order sheets, piece lists, generation of SPS decussate legacies, output adjustment of project). 4. Protecting devices projection, check of selectivity protection, programme SICHR.
