Subject aims expressed by acquired skills and competences

The aim of this course is to acquaint students with the valid procedure during project implementation in the installation of EPS (electric fire signalization), EZS (electronic security system) and CCTV (Closed Circuit Television) systems in buildings and selected objects. Project implementation will be performed according to the current legislation requirements and applicable standards. Students will have the opportunity to apply the knowledge acquired in the implementation of the samle EPS and EZS project in the selected building into practice. Students will get knowledge of technical terms and the ability to communicate with the designer of electrical installations in EPS and EZS systems in buildings during completion of the course named " Security and fire systems 1".

Summary

Electronic Security Systems (ESS) is used to protect not only at home but also its outdoor protection (fencing, infrared barrier, microwave barriers, ...). The ideal connection between the control panel, sensors and code keyboard due to lower claims for regular service is using wired lines. In buildings where this is not possible, you can be advantageously used wireless security systems. Electronic fire systems (EPS). For proper design of an electronic fire-protection system, it is important assessments of buildings. EPS will not prevent a fire, but it indicates a problem in a timely manner. This eliminates any damage. Fire sensors can be part of the security system. Camera systems (CCTV) used to monitor the area and it is possible not only to connect with an electronic security system, but also the image from the video when an alarm display via internet directly on your PC. Both analogue and IP cameras can be controlled from a computer. Thermal imaging cameras can be integrated into alarm systems.
