Subject aims expressed by acquired skills and competences
The aim is to acquaint students with modern methods for processing electrical documentation of buildings and flats.Students will be able to work independently with electrical documentation to the extent claimed.During the semester, students create their own project electrical documentation for the object.Students will learn how to effectively use modern means for creating electrical documentation.

Summary
The course acquaints students with issues of internal electrical wiring in buildings housing and civil construction, the design and construction of electric power distribution in industrial premises, with provisions for the laying of electrical power lines, carrying out electrical installations from external influences, wiring in separate buildings.Furthermore, the course deals with the connections, voltage, placing Connection boxes and measuring equipment, artificial lighting of the interior, outdoor lighting, lightning protection and surge, including grounding. Students will be familiar with CAD systems to support design activities. Students will be given a individual separate project

Way of continuous check of knowledge in the course of semester
• Continuous verifying of student knowledge in the exercises in a form of debate and inquiries to achieve student active participations in study process. Identify, deduce and search of problem solving and their interpretation by students.
• Tests from chosen theoretical circuits
• Project on a given theme on the basis of selection, investigation, ordering and final compilation of facts and their processing into final form of given theme.

Subject syllabus:
Lectures:
1. Basic properties of electrical circuits, wiring, DC circuits, AC single phase and three phase. Basic electrical terms, units and their relationship.
2. Health and safety at work with an electric shock, the effects of electricity on the human body, kinds of protection against electric shock. Decree No. 50/1978 Coll.'s Scope of work authorization implementation on electrical equipment in terms of design, assembly, production, inspection and review of electrical equipment for buildings and operated buildings. Revision Report.
3. Indoor lighting, basic concepts, categories of lighting, lamps, power supplies, lighting level, lighting calculations.
4. Rules lightning protection systems lightning leadership, standpipes, earthling.
5. Electrical equipment, distribution, functions, protective and switching devices.
6. The internal wiring, the main house management, lighting and socket circuits. Installation in bathrooms and showers. Electrical material, switches, sockets, switchboards, wires, cables. External influences, the IP code covering electrical items, IK code.
7. Electric Power Distribution in industrial premises, installed capacity, coefficient of performance, degree of electricity supply. Arrangements for the laying of power lines, bridge wires, lead in pipes, lead cable to the surface and in the country. Distribution of electricity on construction sites, construction equipment mounting.
8. Effect of stray currents and protection of building and other buildings.
9. Production and distribution of electricity, the daily consumption pattern, power, networks. Cogeneration units.
10. LV connection with loose and cable management, location and involvement of measuring kits. Structure of payments for electricity energy.
11. System engineering of buildings and apartments.
12. The basic requirements of the control devices in construction engineering and signaling equipment, safety devices. Examples from the fields of heating.
13. Electrical equipment, distribution transformers, motors.
