Subject aims expressed by acquired skills and competences

Students will get an idea of how electrotechnics is applied in mining industry, to a degree necessary for Mining Faculty graduates. The aim is that in their future careers, as users of electrical equipment or managers, students can understand some problems that have to do with their functioning. Students will also learn more about protection against injury in electrotechnics and with the most important legal regulations that they may encounter in their future careers. Another aim is to teach students where and how to find the necessary information (literature, norms, the Internet...)
