After completing the course, students will gain knowledge enabling good orientation in facilities and resources for serial and parallel diagnostics cars, Measurement of Non-analysis and communication lines and buses. This knowledge, among other things, form the basis for a knowledge-oriented graduate bachelor's degree in automotive electronic systems.

Summary

After completing the course, students will gain knowledge enabling good orientation in facilities and resources for serial and parallel diagnostics cars, Measurement of Non-analysis and communication lines and buses. This knowledge, among other things, form the basis for a knowledge-oriented graduate bachelor's degree in automotive electronic systems. The course focuses on means testing and measurement of automotive electronic systems. In particular, attention is paid to the principles and characteristics of devices for serial and parallel diagnostics of cars, equipment for measuring non-electrical quantities and means for analyzing communication lines and buses.

Lectures: Safety regulations, health facilities and an auto diagnosis Electrical schematics, and documentation of automotive electronic systems Interconnection structure and basic properties of automotive systems Means for dynamic tests of cars, power cylindrical test Parallel diagnostics of cars, oscilloscope, principles and specifics in oscilloscope Parallel Diagnostics automobiles, electrical resistance, voltage and current Parallel diagnostics of cars, generation and emulation automotive signals and control voltages Parallel diagnostics of cars, special equipment for measuring non-electrical values Serial diagnostics cars, European onboard diagnostics OBD (OBD II) Serial diagnostics cars, versatile and multi-brand diagnostic devices for serial electronic systems Serial diagnostics cars, designer appliances for serial diagnostics of electronic systems Means for analyzing automotive diagnostic lines K-line and LIN communication bus Means for analyzing automotive communication bus and FlexRey Legislation and European standards
