Subject aims expressed by acquired skills and competences

The aim of this subject student regaining knowledge susceptible good orientation in principles activities analog circuit, ability independent analyses and synthesis analog circuit and can apply gained piece of knowledge at practical proposal analog circuit.

Summary

The subject is focused on detailed understanding of analog electronic circuits function. The content of this subject is based on knowledge of the electronic circuits theory and theoretical electrotechnics. The obtained knowledge are part of general knowledge of electrical engineer, especially if he is focused on application of electronics.

Way of continuous check of knowledge in the course of semester

Conditions for credit: Obligatory participation in laboratory exercises. In general 8 laboratory exercises are assessed max. 2,5 points, i. e. max. 20 points from laboratory exercises. Obligatory finishing of 2 tests in regular term. Test is assessed max. 10 points, i. e. max. 20 points from tests. At repetition test is assessed only 80% achieved points. Student can obtain from exercises max. 40 points, for conferment inclusion it is necessary achieve min. 25 points.

Analysis in the frequency area. Design of small signal amplifiers. Multi - stage amplifier. DC and AC coupling. Feedback in electronic circuits. Differential amplifier. Circuit solution, characteristics, design, applications. Power amplifiers. Class A, B, AB. Circuit solution, characteristics, design of power amplifiers, applications. Theory of operational amplifier. Stability of operational nets. Basic connections of operational amplifiers. Linear applications of operational amplifiers. Nonlinear applications of operational amplifiers. Analog control means . Circuit solution, design, static and dynamic properties, applications. Amplitude signal limiters. Steepness signal limiters.
