Summary

The subject aims one´s effort to projecting of electrical drives. It is based on definitions and terminologies, which are used in this area. There are designed and dimesioned components of DC. and AC. electrical drives. The subject is based on background knowledges from Power Electronics, Electrical Machines and Electrical Drives. Learned informations extend the knowledge base of electrical engineer, especially if his topic is aimed in area of applications and design of electrical drives.

Way of continuous check of knowledge in the course of semester

Verification of study: Checking tests TEST No.1, TEST No.2 (see exercise) Conditions for credit: Obligatory participation in laboratory exercises. In general 2 laboratory exercises are assessed max. 5 points, i. e. max. 10 points from laboratory exercises. Obligatory finishing of 2 tests in regular term. Test is assessed max. 10 points, i. e. max. 20 points from tests. One test can be repaired. Repaired test is assessed only 80% achieved points. Individual project elaboration - max. 10 points. Student can obtain from exercises max. 40 points, for conferment inclusion it is necessary achieve min. 20 points.
