The purpose of the subject is to obtain and to develope knowledge providing good orientation in area of automotive elektronic circuit.

Electronics in motor-cars, alternator, dynamo, accumulator, starter motor, battery ignition, contactless electronic ignition, relay, monopoint, multipoint injection, motormanagement

Compulsory literature:

Recommended literature:

Way of continuous check of knowledge in the course of semester

Conditions for credit: Obligatory participation in laboratory exercises In general 3 laboratory exercises are assessed max. 10 points, i. e. max. 30 points from laboratory exercises Obligatory finishing of test in regular term. Test is assessed max. 10 points. At repetition test is assessed only 80% achieved points Student can obtain from exercises max. 40 points, for conferment inclusion it is necessary achieve min. 25 points

Subject syllabus:

Lectures: Dynamo, construction and parameters. Voltage control. Alternator, rectifier. Voltage control of alternator. Batteries, construction, charging. Starter, requirements, properties, construction. Ignition, theory, spark plugs, interrupter, distributor. Electronic ignition. Control elements, relays, contact sensors. Resistive sensors of temperature , position and flow. Electromagnetic sensors, optocouplers. Lambda probe. Electromotors, electromagnets. On-board equipment. Air-conditioning equipment. Carburetor with electronic control. Monopoint, multipoint injection. Motormanagement, ABS, EDS, communication, navigation. Exercises: Revision of the foundations of electrical engineering and electronics Rectifiers Accumulators Regulatory relay Ignition Sensors Practising, repetition and consultation on issues 1 - 10 TEST Consultation Laboratories: Measurement of rectifiers Measurement of accumulators Measurement of regulatory relay Projects: Results Processing of laboratory exercises -Laboratory exercise No.1 - No.3
