Summary

In this course, students are introduced to the basic principles and features of wireless sensor networks used in various technical fields. The course is focused on the area of distributed sensor networks, their architecture and communication with sensors. The main goal is to enhance student’s skills with theory and practice about communication technologies for transmitting small amounts of data and methods of wireless sensor network design in the Internet of Things (IoT). The graduate will be able to theoretically and practically integrate the sensors into the existing IoT network and independently design the WSN communication infrastructure.
