Summary
Subject purpose is to acquaint students with development of the communication systems from Strowger's switch to Softswitches of next generation network. Students obtain general overview of communication systems, networks and signaling, which is important for fundamental orientation in the field of telecommunications. In the end of semester there's in cooperation with Telefónica O2 organized a visit of NOC in Prague where the network management tools are demonstrated.
