The aim of learning are practical knowledges about Electronic Safety Systems as to the hardware, software and theoretical aspects. An absolvent of learning is able to design and realize safety systems.

Way of continuous check of knowledge in the course of semester

Lessons : Fundament of lessons consists in work on 3 projects P1 P2 P3. Projects can be standard or individual. Standardní projects : P1….. Programming of encrypted transfer of data. 0 or 2 or 8 marks P1 is demonstrated in 4. week of semester. P2….. Communication of processor with Dallas chips . 0 or 2 or 15 marks P2 is demonstrated in 7. week of semester. P3….. Creating of full security system with coupling into GSM. 0 or 2 or 25 marks P3 is demonstrated in 14. ev.15. week. Individual projects - students can propose their own projects. Subject syllabus:

Lectures 1. Sensors used in safety systems, principles and facilities. 2. Wireless GSM modules, example – SIM300D. 3. Encryption at data transfer. 4. Processor in function control device of safety system, criterials of selection. Example – application of PIC18F46K22 in safety system. 5. Robustness of safety system as to the failure by any means. Professional tests. 6. Signal processing in safety systems. 7. Picture processing in safety systems. GSM camera EYE-02. 8. Chip cards, contact and wireless systems. Example – identification chips Dallas DS1990R-F3. 9. Components and systems for cars safety. 10. Professional safety systems commercial produced. 11. Transfer of information using electrical supply 230V AC. 12. Simply circuit solutions of safety systems(without processor). 13. Reliability of systems, reliability models, dynamic and hybrid backup. 14. Powering of safety systems, photovoltaic panels, modern types of accumulators. 15. Laws associated with safety systems.

Conditions for subject completion and attendance at the exercises within ISP: Task No. 1 - demonstration of functionality, max 20 points. Task No. 2 - demonstration of functionality, max 25 points. Condition for credit is minimally 30 points from exercises. Condition for absolving is to gain min. 51 points (credit + exercise). ISP students must fulfill both Tasks and gain points needed for credit.
