Subject aims expressed by acquired skills and competences

Aim of this course is an introduction to the basic law institutions, which students can encounter in their professional practice in information and communication technologies.

Seminars

Summary

Students obtain information about the czech law system and its influence to the ICT. Graduate student will get a summary in the private and public law areas. Regarding to the private law area, student should learn knowledge on formulation of contracts in the both real world and the virtual world. The lecture covers area of intellectual property rights, protection of the personal data, crucial data protection, domain registration etc. The individual attention will be dedicated to the responsibility of the end user in virtual environment. Student will be informed about negatives, which can appear in the virtual environment.
