Subject aims expressed by acquired skills and competences

The purpose of the subject is to obtain and to develope knowledge providing good orientation in area of electronic circuit functioning.

Summary

The subject is focused on the basic understanding of semiconductor devices function and electronic circuits function.

Conditions for credit: 100% participation in the laboratory, the possibility of compensation for individual consultation with the Head of exercises. Surrender of measurement protocols in due time = 1 week after the end of measurement. Passing all the tests at the proper time (to be communicated at least week in advance). In the case of passing the test other than the due date will be that evaluated only 80% achieved points. Each test can be repeated 1st in its recurrence will be evaluated, only 80% achieved points and will be calculated the outcome of the re-test! Getting at least 25 points from the exercise of the 40 possible.

Subject syllabus:

Lectures: Passive elements RLC Semiconductors. Supply unit. Rectifiers, full-wawe rectifiers, filters. Voltage and current regulators. Transistor amplifiers. Power amplifiers. Operational amplifiers, electrical characteristics. Linear and nonlinear application OA. Oscillators. Basics of digital technics. Circuits TTL and CMOS Basics of microprocessor technics. Exercises: Properties passive and active electronic components. Examples of calculating the power of network resources. Examples of calculating parametric stabilizers and feedback voltage regulators. TEST 1 - Basic knowledge of network power sources. Examples of the proposal for setting up the circuit and stabilize the working point sleep transistor. Examples of applications of differential amplifiers. Operational amplifiers. Examples of the draft flip-flop circuits, application specific integrated circuits, connections with the districts TTL and CMOS. TEST 2 - Amplifiers, operational amplifiers. Laboratories: Measurement of the fundamental involvement of rectifiers. Measurements V-A characteristics of semiconductors. Measuring the properties of parametric voltage stabilizers. Measuring the properties of the essential characteristics of operational amplifiers. Measurement of the fundamental properties of logic circuits.
