Subject aims expressed by acquired skills and competences
The purpose of the subject is to obtain and to develope knowledge providing good orientation in area of elektronic circuit functioning, power semiconductor converters and application of power electronics and futhermore to get ability of individual analysis and synthesis of electonic circuits and systems of power electronic, which is supposed for the good practical use.
Teaching methods
Summary
The subject is focused on the basic understanding of electronic circuit function. The content of this subject is based on knowledge of the elektronic circuit theory and basics theoretical elektronics. The obtained information becomes part of general knowledge of electrical engineer, especially if he is focused on application of electronics.

Kontrolní testy
Podmínky udělení zápočtu:
100% účast na laboratorní výuce, výjímečně možnost náhrady po individuální
domluvě s vedoucím cvičení.
odevzdání protokolů z měření v řádném termínu =1 týden po ukončení měření
absolvování všech kontrolních testů v řádném termínu (bude sdělen minimálně
týden předem). V případě absolvování testu v jiném než řádném termínu bude
tento hodnocen pouze 80% dosažených bodů. Každý test je možné 1x opakovat, při
jeho opakování bude hodnocen pouze 80% dosažených bodů a bude započítán
výsledek opakovaného testu!
získání minimálně 25 bodů ze cvičení ze 40 možných.
Bodové hodnocení cvičení:
maximálně 40 bodů, z toho:
T1 = max. 10 bodů
T2 = max. 10 bodů

Lectures:
Supply units, requirements on individual parts of supply units.
Rectifiers. Filtration of directional voltage. Parametric voltage regulator tube. Feedback voltage regulators continuous and pulsed.
Amplifiers. Setting and stabilization of the static operating point of bipolar transistors and unipolar transistors.
Wideband amplifiers for small signal. Transmission parameters. Analysis on frequency coverage.
Solution of amplifiers small signal.
Multistep amplifiers. Direct and alternating coupling. Feedback in electronic circuit.
Differential amplifier and his application.
Power amplifiers in class A, B, AB. Tranzistor in the swiching mode. Flip-flop circuits.
Theory of operational amplifiers. Ideal and real operational amplifier. Stability of operational net. Basic circuit of operational amplifiers.
Linear application of operational amplifiers.
Nonlinear application of operational amplifiers.
Generators of periodic signals. Harmonic oscillators. Generators of square wave, triangular and saw signals.
Basic methods of signal modulation. Modulators and mixers.
Exercises:
Revision of characteristics of passive and active electronic devices.
Calculations of supply units.
Calculations of parametric voltage regulator tube and feedback voltage regulators.
