The main target is to obtain to student knowledge about problems of multiple motor drives and their application in industry.

Teaching methods

Summary

Subject is oriented on basic fundamentals, structure and function of multiple motor drives. Contens are based on knowledge of electronics, power electronics, electric machines and control theory.

Subject syllabus:

Lectures: Fundamental division of multiple motor drives. Controled system structures of grid coupled multiple motor drives. Mathematical model of plastic coupling and controled system structures of this drives. Resilient coupling between drives, mathematical model. The active damping possibilities of multiple motor drives with resilient coupling. State space observer synthesis. Controled system structures of coil winding and unwinding machines.
