Summary
The scope of bachelor seminar is advising of information and rules for the preparing of bachelor diploma work. Information is related to text formatting, language quality, content and range of the bachelor diploma work, and electronic version of the work. Next information is related to organize, time table and headway of the state bachelor examination. There are also consultations with lecturers and the self individual elaboration of bachelor diploma work.

Way of continuous check of knowledge in the course of semester
Lectures:
Compulsory attendance at all lessons.
Project part:
Each student is continuously supervised by his bachelor thesis supervisor.
Conditions for granting the credit:
The student must submit a document of at least 15 pages for the bachelor thesis (in electronic form) to the bachelor thesis supervisor. Format of submitted document * .pdf.
It is necessary to respect the Principles for the elaboration of the bachelor\'s and diploma theses presented in the seminar and published on the faculty web site.
It is assumed that the student presents in particular the state of work and solves at least 50% of his / her final work.
The credit will be awarded on the basis of a presentation of the state of the bachelor thesis solution and its evaluation by the bachelor thesis supervisor. The credit is awarded by the bachelor thesis supervisor.

Teaching part
1. Formalities of Qualification (1st week)
Structure of the qualification work. Familiarization with the rules of qualification work at FEI VŠB - TU Ostrava. Collaboration with the company and secret parts of qualifying work. Formal organization of the qualification work. Practical examples in word program. Structure and extent of qualification work according to FEI VŠB - TU Ostrava rules (analysis of content of individual parts). SW Tools for Qualification (Word, Latech, Quality Images - Examples)
2. Citation and Work with Literature (Week 2)
Study of sources and literature and information sources with regard to the availability of information, credibility and relevance of information. Electronic resources, research creation. Searching the Internet, library catalogs, bibliographic systems. Why, where, how to quote. Form of quote. Practical exercises
3. Quality presentation of DP (3rd week)
Examining Quotation Knowledge. Forms of presentation. Suggested presentation structure. Errors in the presentation. Fundamentals of rhetoric. Example of an example presentation and a bad presentation
4. Fundamentals of Project Activity (Week 4)
Principles of independent scientific or technical work. Means for organizing independent scientific work.
5. Fundamentals of Research Methodology (5th - 6th week)
Definition of the term research and its species. Principles of experimentation in technology and medicine. Science, scientific approach, scientific method, scientific theory. Basic and applied research, their specifics and requirements.
Introduction to the research process objectives, possibilities, legislation, availability, practical information. Types of clinical trials. Determination of the research sample (file). Ethical aspects of health research. Intellectual property protection
Project part:
Individual qualification work of each student
Labs:
Work on the design and realization of the qualification work in the laboratory and consultations with the supervisors of the qualification work.
