Subject aims expressed by acquired skills and competences

The aim of this subject is to apply physical principles and physiology methods in medicine. The subject forms the connection between mathematical physics and physical chemistry on the one side and biological sciences on the second one. The subject with its contents fits into an alignment of measuring and control techniques in biomedicine. Acquired knowledge and skill in this subject and the whole alignment forms the basic presumption of knowledge of biomedical engineering. Summary

This subject interprets in mathematical way biological process exploring physiochemical process in live matter. At the same time the subject explores the mutual influence of live matter and different forms of energy.

Way of continuous check of knowledge in the course of semester

Verification of study: One test and report, combined exam, it is necessary to be successful in all part of exam to pass exam. Conditions for credit: 1.Test during 26-50 points, 2. 25-50 points per test. On the whole minimum 51 points.
