Subject aims expressed by acquired skills and competences

- Can list and describe the characteristics of selected target groups of clients, - means the activities of a worker in social services, - understands the importance of the concept of needs especially for clients with mental illness, disabilities and the elderly, - knows the roles of a worker in social services, - knows the basics of crisis theory and crisis intervention, - knows the state of crisis, - can apply the method of crisis intervention in the basic range of specialized topics and can use the acquired skills while working with the client, - can apply skills for effective communication with clients, their families and a broader network of relationships, - has the basic competence to guide a person through its crisis, - knows contemporary approaches and concepts of leisure time, - knows free time functions, free time principles and their differences, - knows institutions and leisure organizations in terms of both history and present, - can plan and lead leisure activities with specific educational goals, - can apply activation and educational techniques while working with the client, - knows the types of social services, - knows the obligations of the provider in connection with registration of social services pursuant to Act No. 108/2006 Coll., on Social Services, - knows the standards of quality of social services and can apply them in practice, - knows qualification requirements in social services, - Can map the needs of social service clients and plan individually, - has the basic competence to involve the client in decision making, - knows the issue of the social service contract, the relationship between the Social Services Act and the Civil Code, - knows the legal rules on the question of the lawfulness, the limitation in the lawfulness, the guardianship law, the rights and duties of the guardian, - knows the legal regulation of confidentiality according to the Act on Social Services, the Personal Data Protection Act and the GDPR, - has insight into the SP Code of Ethics, basic human rights and distinguishes situations of possible threats or non-compliance, - has an overview of causes and prevention of the client's dependence on the social service and in the field of prevention of abuse and abuse of users of social services, - Focuses on the theories of stress, mental well-being and safety, - acquire the necessary skills and competencies of awareness and reflection of the practice of practice on their psyche, - can actively handle the demands of practice in order to be able to achieve mental well-being and security.

Summary

Learning outcomes of the course unit The subject acquaints with the basics of working with the client in social services in terms of the system of social services itself, including quality standards in social services and clients of social services. Defines the position of a worker in social services and represents its role. It focuses on the position of law and ethics in social services. He also focuses on psychohygiene and ensuring personal security.

Work with a client in social services - defining work with a client in social services; employee in social services and his / her role, target groups of workers in social services; the basics of free time pedagogy - activation, educational and educational techniques; the bases of crisis intervention; Teacher: Mgr. Iva Kuzníková Ph.D., Mgr. Šárka Dořičáková, Bc., Mgr. Alexandra Čubová; range 10 hours 2. Quality in social services and quality standards in social services - types of social services; provider obligations and standards of quality of social services; qualifications in social services; individual planning and mapping of the client's needs; engaging the client in decision making; Teacher: Mgr. Šárka Dořičáková; range 8 hours 3. Law in social services - the law on social services; legal capacity; trusteeship; confidentiality and protection of personal data; Teacher: Mgr.
