The main goal of this subject is to provide basic information concerning diagnostic methods used in medicine and their principles.

Summary

Physical, mathematical and biological topics, which are fundamental for diagnostic methods. The lectures oriented to physical and biological substantiation of instrumental diagnostic methods are replenished by excursions to several workplaces with workshops in praxis.

Biochemical diagnostic methods Cytological diagnostic methods Genetic and Immunological diagnostic methods Electrophysiological and radiodiagnostic methods D.M. oriented to nervous system D.M. oriented to endocrinology D.M. oriented to cardiology D.M. oriented to respiratory system D.M. oriented to gastroenterology D.M. oriented to urogenital system D.M. oriented to blood, haematology D.M. in oncology Equipment used in therapy Exercises: Regulations in living systems Mathematics and Genetics 1-st control test Pharmacology - basic terms Laboratories: Biochemical diagnostic methods, excersises and repetition Microscopy, preparation of specimen Electrocardiography basics Electroencephalography Electrocardiography II D.M. oriented to respiratory tract - excersises and repetition Excursion in endoscopy workplace. Excursion in hamatology and biochemical laboratory Excursion in radidiagnostic clinic (MRI, CT, DSA)
