Summary

The first part of the course is focused on basic principles and the design of the peristaltic pump based pumping technique, syringe pumps, other pumping techniques for the area of medical applications (membrane pump concentrates, ultrafiltration pumps, gear flow and degassing pump, etc.). The second part of the course is focused on the biophysical principles and their technical application. It is mainly about the principle of metabolism, extracorporeal blood circulation and the implementation of the technology of hemodialysis solutions, including water treatment on the basis of a reverse osmosis system. In addition, the special disinfection procedures of a higher grade and cleaning procedures. Is the issue of biocompatibility, special očišťovacích methods of blood (hemofiltration) and the technical principles of hemodialysis instrumentation.
