Summary
The course focuses on the principles, design, implementation and commercial applications of eHealth approaches to monitor health status, improve the quality of life of physically and mentally handicapped people, therapeutic applications and fitness applications. Using existing knowledge of students in the field of diagnostic and therapeutic medical devices will be lectured and practically excercised their possible applications in the above mentioned areas. The necessary knowledge and skills in the areas of body sensor networks, eHealth approaches, assistive technologies, User interface design and an effective way of interpreting measured data for users and experts will be added.
