Subject aims expressed by acquired skills and competences
The goal of the course is an introduction to current advanced technologies, principles and methods used in modern medical therapeutic instrumentation. Students will be able to apply knowledge and design elements of medical devices or instrumentation. There will also be able to participate in the development team creating software for the medical systems. Circuits lessons focus primarily on: the methods and new techniques ventilation diagnosis, surgical tools, instruments and equipment, systems and facilities working with x-rays, computerized tomography and magnetic resonance imaging, patient monitoring systems and biotelemetriea tele-therapy, signal processing in medical instrumentation , research and development in medical devices, new methods and trends of recording equipment in conjunction with medical instrumentation, computer and web applications in medicine.

Summary
The course deals with selected issues in the field of therapeutic medical instrumentation and laboratory techniques. The course is devoted to theoretical areas of scientific knowledge, therapeutic and special medical equipment, trends in the development of smart sensors, actuators and methods for use in health care.
