Subject aims expressed by acquired skills and competences
The main goal is to give the students information focused on modern methods of analysis and design of distributed control systems, technical instruments and software tools. The students will be able to chose appropriate hardware and software tools for design of the distributed control systems.

Summary
The course deals with selected issues in the field of distributed systems which are widely used conception of the industrial control systems. The course contains analysis of the distributed control systems and the heterogeneous industrial networks, trends in programmable controller’s area in view of distributed control systems, trends in supervisory control systems, in networks of sensors and actuators. The course extends the knowledge of the industrial control system obtained in bachelor and master degree.
