Subject aims expressed by acquired skills and competences
Objective of the course in terms of learning outcomes and competences The aim of the course is to familiarize students with modern methods and instrumentation used in diagnostics. Learning outcomes of the course unit The aim of the subject is to get acquainted with new results of noninvasive diagnostics research for the needs of intensive care units, sports medicine and biotelemetry.

Summary
The course deals with selected problems in the field of new diagnostic methods in medicine. The subject is devoted to theoretical areas of scientific knowledge, detection principles, evaluation methodology, trends in the development of diagnostic methods on chip, intelligent diagnostic sensors, for use in health care.
