To introduce basic principles of mechanical, electrical, electronic and optical processes in various radiological apparatus.

General introduction to construction, technical solution and principles of operation of radiological apparatus

Way of continuous check of knowledge in the course of semester
During the semester, students will write three tests evaluated passed or failed.
Tests will consist of twenty questions
For the evalution will need to pass to correctly answer ten of them.
The examination is a test, this test must be met before actual accession to the test
Exams will consist of 5 questions
A minimum of 70% success is required to successfully complete the course.

Subject syllabus:
- The principle of X-ray tubes, their types, glow circuits, rotate circuits.
- High voltage circuits, types of generators.
- Block diagram of the classical Radiology devices, function blocks and their relation
- Timing diagram of electrical parameters during exposure
- Bucky diaphragm, the primary aperture and technical solutions
- Image intensifier and the possibility of recording (spot, video and film camera).
- Automatic Exposure
- TV chain
- Radiography, fluoroscopy complete, C-arm, mobile dental, unit intra-oral and panoramic, mammography, tomography linear and multidirectional
- Digital radiography.
- Computer tomography.
Laboratory
- The principle of X-ray tube, high voltage circuits, generator sets. Timing diagram of electrical parameters during the exposure. Seminar analysis and practical demonstration of typical systems.
