Subject syllabus:
- Public health, historical development, content, tasks, structure and functions of public health, individual health care and public health, public health, health care organization in the state administration, regional and local governments. Health and public health policy, characteristics and stages of development of the health situation here, in Europe and the world's major health problems, the principles of the new health policy. Current problems and challenges of health care in the CR
- Management of health care, basic medical management, the role of management levels, the importance of information system, economic management tools, financial resources, current issues of managing health facilities, personnel management, accessibility, equity, and rationalization of services, evaluation activities, quality health care
- Medical services, continuity, regional differences in consumption of services, forms and methods of health care (protection and health promotion, health education, health and social care, outpatient activity and inpatient facilities and continuity in home care and self care, family role), the financing of health services.
- Health and social care for specific population groups, care for the elderly and chronically ill people, care for the disabled, rehabilitation and social reintegration. Community care, community planning, integration and cooperation of health and social services, complex nursing home care.
- Basics of Health Economics, mission economics, macroeconomics and microeconomics, basic concepts, principles of remuneration of health workers, health and the market mechanism.
- The role of justice in health care, the role of law in society, a system of health care law, regulate the provision of basic health care rights of citizens, patients, government and administrative proceedings.
