The course makes students acquainted with the basics of audiometry, acoustics and devices in use for diagnostic and therapy.

Summary

Physical principles of acoustics, basics of physiological acoustics. Fundamentals of audiometry, objective audiometry, auditory defects and interpretation of findings on examinations.

- Physical principles of acoustics - Basics of Physiological Acoustics - Audiological investigation techniques - Principles of objective audiometry - Algorithm testing hearing of very young children - Principles of screening of hearing loss - Principles of simulation tests and aggravation hearing loss Laboratory - Audiological investigation techniques - Detection of hearing disorders and their investigation - Examination of simulation and aggravation of hearing loss - Interpretation of clinical findings
