Subject aims expressed by acquired skills and competences

Students will learn to use electrical measuring instruments, measure basic electrical quantities and passive elements. An integral part of the student's competence is also the knowledge of quantification of measurement uncertainty..

Teaching methods

Individual consultations
Experimental work in labs
Project work

Summary

Students will learn to use all types of measuring instruments from analog to digital to virtual instrumentation. Students will be able to measure basic electrical quantities and passive elements by a number of methods. Special chapters are dedicated to expressing the uncertainty of the measurement result.
