Subject aims expressed by acquired skills and competences

Explain and learn student basic concepts of plasma physics and techniques. Subject includes chaps concerning electrical discharge in gasses, their initialization, maintenance and disappearance. The principles and property of electric arc. Choice practical application plasmas techniques - welding, plasmas generators, tokomaks and equipment for thermonuclear synthesis.

Summary

The course follows basic knowledge of students from subject Basics of Plasma Technique. Course is extended mathematical apparatus of plasma study, physical behaviours of plasma, his dynamics and possibilities of diagnostic.

Lectures: Basic Concepts of plasma - Definition, Characteristics, Applications, Material States, Temperature of Plasma, Conductivity of Plasma, Criteria for the Existence of Plasma. Bases Kinetic Theory of Gasses - Flexible expense Crashes, Cross Section, Crashes Frequences and Free Travel, Pressure and Temperature, Velocity Distribution, Elemental Processes. Mathematical Apparatus for Plasma description. Thermal Conductivity of Plasma. Electrical Conductivity of Plasma. Energy Balance of Plasma. Radiation of Plasma. Bases Principles dynamics of Plasma. Diagnostics of Plasma - Temperature measuring. Diffusion and Resistance. Introduction to the Controlled Termonuclear Reaction. Exercises: Calculation of Maxwell lay-out movement of elements speed in gasses. Calculation of Electrons ionisation with Maxwell lay-out of rate. Calculation of Ionisation by Sah equation. Calculation of Electric Conductivity of Plasma. Calculation of Thermal Conductivity of Plasma. Simple Example from Plasmas Physics. Projects: Individual semestral work. Proceeding from laboratory exercising.
