Subject aims expressed by acquired skills and competences
Student can describe principles operation of electrical machines which are used in home electric appliances, hand tools, in offices and also in computer techniques. Student can define their characteristics and application field. Student can up graduation laboratory measuring measure and judge characteristics of electrical machines.
Student will know fundamental functions of electrical machines and can measure on electrical machines.

Summary
Fractionation of electrical machines, materials used in electrical machines, fundamental laws for electrical machines. Fundamental principles are studied for transformers, inductions and synchronous machines, DC machines and commutator machines. Education deals also with principles of reluctance, stepping and linear motors. Laboratory education is concentred on measuring on these machines.
