Subject aims expressed by acquired skills and competences

Make a familiar the students with the analytic and design methods of the electrical circuit The calculation of the necessary tolerances of circuit devices. The proper selection of circuit configuration from more possibilities. Various types of analog (pasive, active)filter design. Personal computer are used for circuit design.

Teaching methods

Summary

The subject is focused both to the analyze of the effect of the circuit elements tolerances to the electric circuit action and to the circuit design with the respect this point of view.

Verification of study: Test 1 and test 2. Semester theses delivery. Conditions for credit: To rich minimally 25 points on these activities.

Subject syllabus:

Lectures: Basic circuit devices. Basic terms. Pasive devices identification. Pasive devices models. Active devices identification. Active devoces models. Properties of devices materials. Inertial properties of circuit devices. The changes of the circuit functions caused by physical phenomenon. The methods of the circuit tolerance parameter calculation. Possibilities of the decreasing the influence of the parameter tolerances. The methods of the sensitive devices search. The tolerance theory apply for circuit design. The proper circuit selection and tolerance theory. The modification possibilities of the circuit structure. The effective circuit design. The statistical methods modelling of the tolerance parameter influence to the circuit. Exercises: Secure work instruction. Laboratory measurement. Constant current source. Laboratory measurement. AC voltage amplifier. Laboratory measurement. Low frequency oscillator. Laboratory measurement. Frequency filters. Laboratory measurement. General impedance convertor. Test 1. PC exercise.
