Summary

Introduce up to problems of project work in measurement and control, building relations to rules and teach in practice of civil engineering. Subject introduces applicants up to problems of project work in measurement and control (MaC) for different technology from line industry and public purpose building. Familiarize with technology of project work in and complements knowledge technology measurement and control systems. In the subject are read: - selected technical equipment of buildings, building control, buildings with industry purposes. Relation with other professions in civil engineering. Building standards, building documentation, tools for CAD in project practice. Tutorial in AutoCAD and Eplan. Subject of project work in measurement and control is dedicated firstly for branches, in those premise implementation at repairs, reconstruction and new building of industrial and public purpose building. The study knowledge tends to be renewing by excursions on buildings and to the enterprises and project organizations. Minimal qualification study of title is knowledge work with PC. Student is classified by created Essays; Half-yearly work (scholastic project) and concluding test.

Way of continuous check of knowledge in the course of semester

Verification of study: Essay up to 14. week, Half-yearly work (scholastic project) up to 14. week Content and form of assessed works: Essay: Technical exposition fabricated on the base of minimally three sources (two of them must be of foreign origin and language) at the theme in accordance of student's selection, must be approved by lecturer. Must contain bibliography (arranged with accordance with valid standards) literature. The layout is given at the beginning of the semester. Half-yearly work: Solving of the more extensive problem (scholastic project) from line MaC. Documentation must contain assigned parts. The vindication is successful, when the student presents his own result, explains independently function, presents whole documentation of the solving method, including theory, including constructional and project arguments and including function verification and comments how the assignment was fulfilled. Student must be able the half-year work to publicize by locating on the WEB server. Conditions for credit: min. 26 Points, max 49 Points Essay 0 - 9 Points Half-yearly work (scholastic project) 0 - 40 Points subtotal max. 49 The requirement for giving of title is min. 51 Pts. including concluding test.

Periods of preparation of new project. Requirements on designers. Project accounts and its acquisition. Technical equipment and technology of public purpose building. Technical equipment and technology of industrial building. Program furnishing for project work. Operational research. Processing of technical and system specification. Processing accounts. Invoice and bill. Tender and tender qualification. Problems of maintaining and archivation of documentation. Details in field instrumentation. Switchboards for measurement and control. Rules and conventions. Electromagnetic compatibility in systems MaC. Concluding test from theory. Exercises: Principles of work with CAD.
