Subject aims expressed by acquired skills and competences

The goal of this course is to give a tabular information about the special medical instruments. Contribution of this subject are the acquired knowledge from the special medical technology and imaging methods in medicine. The acquired knowledge and skill creates the basic knowledge of biomedicine engineering.

Summary

The aim of this object is concentrated on the special medical technology - microscopic, endoscopic, oftalmological, stomatology, sterilizing, X-ray technology, haemodialysis, laboratory technoligy biochemistry and haematology, sonographical, surgical, magnetic resonance and computer tomography. The next block of themes is concentrated on the imaging methods in medicine. The basic course of image theory, mathematical proceedings for its evaluation and image view with regard to PC, linear transform and numeric filtration of the image. Further on TV display systems, problems of scanning, scanning and evaluation of images. TV scanning elements, displays and thermovision scanning cameras.

Subject syllabus:

Lectures: Microscopical technique: Introduction to the light microscopy, rise theory, construction, type, immuno-electron microscopy Sterilizer technique: Introduction to the epidemiology, sterilization, disinfection, type of sterilization. Germicides Lamp Endoscopy technique: Principles, engineering facilities and using in clinical branches - gastroscope, bronchoscope, artroskop, anoscope, rhinoskop, choledoskop, thorakoskop, cytoskop, laparoscope, hysteroskop. Technique of opthalmology: human eye as optical system, construction and description of his part, characteristics, visual acuity (adaptation, accommodation, sensitiveness vision, dazzlement, sensation picture, resolution, visual acuity and mistakes sight), sight investigation by oftalmologickymi apparatus Hemodyalisy technique: Physiochemical principles of dialysis, dialyser apparatus, flow diagram and function. Water for hemodialyser purposes, filter plant, extract. Sonografy technology and termovysion: Principles of ultrasonic imagery. Determination of heterogeneous boundary-line depths. Scan speed of weaving movement with the ultrasonic alliances by the help of Doppler phenomenon. Heat coping, pyrovidikon. Laboratory technology: Biochemical and hematology laboratory apparatus and arrangement, automata, equipment laboratory. Surgical and surgical technology: Surgical tools and apparatus, arrangement for extra-corporeal circulation, cryosurgery and technology boast undulation. Radiodiagnostics: Classification of RTG techniques, computerized tomograph, ultrasonic diagnostics, magnetic resonance. Magnetic resonance: history of MRI, physical principle, magnetic systems - MRI, gradient field, VF signal, application MRI. Broadcast sensing system: Problems scan and plotting picture generally, way look and sensation picture, luminous conditions for sensation picture. Laboratories: Demonstration of kind of microscope according to observational method - microscopy phasic invariable, interferential, fluorescing, in dark field and polarization. Electron microscope. Demonstration of arrangement HS, digester and chemical sterilizacni techniques, call detachment central sterilization. Demonstration endoscopy engineer in diagnostic and therapeutic of the process. Exhibits endoscopy method investigation and treatments patient (revolting teach prospectuses). Laboratory exercise - fundamental medical investigation with the help of sight ophthalmological instrument and apparatus. Excursion on hemodialysis center. Using CCD for heat coping in medical application. Analysis thermogram. Laboratory exercise - metering optical parameter matters on spectrophotemeter Spekol. Demonstration reserve for arrangement litotryptor on urology clinics. Excursion on radiodiagnostic institution and demonstration radiologic investigation. Practical demonstration on magnetic resonance system, computerized tomography and angiography. Broadcast sensing element and using for medical practice. Heat coping in medicines. Using broadcast system to scan human organ. Telemedicine.
