Subject aims expressed by acquired skills and competences
The goal of this course is to give a tabular information about the therapeutical medical technology.
The acquired knowledge concerns on therapeutical instruments in medicine. This subject engages to the branch control and measurements in bio-medicine. The knowledge and acquirements obtained in this subject and in all branches are main presumption of the knowledge in biomedical engineering.

Summary
The principles of the scanning electrical signals and quantities are taught. Further different methods of the scanned quantities from the human body are interpreted. The next part of this subject is orientated on scan non-electrical quantity in clinical practice.

Conception of therapeuticals instruments in medicine, therapeuticals dose, interaction of physical fields on biological structure, physiological effect
Technical conception of therapeutical instruments, Fundamental block schematics and parameters of individual blocks of therapeutical systems
¨Heart electrotherapy, defibrillation, cardiac pacemaker
anesthesia and spirometry instruments, incubation apparatus
Leser technology, characteristics of radiation, fundamental types of laser, Incidence of laser ray on to biological tissue
Electromagnetic field technology, physical principle, electromagnetic field energy and effect, high frequency technology
