Summary

Aim of the subject is to give the learner essential theoretical and practical knowledge from areas of electrotechnical materials. Acquired knowledge allows students right selection from electrotechnical materials during construction and projection of electrotechnical and electronical devices. Purpose of the study is to give the learner essential theoretical and practical knowledge from areas of electro-technical materials. Students are familiarized with basic theoretical knowledge of structure of electrotechnical materials like insulating materials, conductors, resistive materials, semiconductors and magnetic materials. Further then with their electrical and physical features and areas of their usage. During the practical part students measure tasks from areas of insulating materials, conducting materials, magnetic materials, semiconducting materials and structures.
