Subject aims expressed by acquired skills and competences

The goal of this course is to give fundamental information medical instrumentatuion according to clinical branches division. This contain internal, surgical and point investigative methods and therapeutical units. The acquired knowledge concerns on diagnostic instruments in medicine. This subject engages to the branch control and measurements in bio-medicine. The knowledge and acquirements obtained in this subject and in all branches are main presumption of the knowledge in biomedical engineering.

Summary

This subject is related to Medical Electric Apparatuses I and deals more extensively with the diagnostic and therapeutic medical instruments problem, laboratory equipment and special medical technology. The principles, schemes, technical instrument solving, functions and the way of use according to clinical discipline are explained. The medical instruments specific task is accented from the point of view of their use. A great importance is assigned to seminars when students visit all clinical workplaces where the sanitary instruments are used. The students are practically acquainted with the operation and clinical analyse on these apparatuses.
