Subject aims expressed by acquired skills and competences

The subject represents the extending and improvement of the artificial intelligence knowledge with special focus on analysis and development of knowledge systems using the fuzzy mathematic and fuzzy logic principles and approaches. Students will be ready for design, development and practical appication of fuzzy oriented expert systems and fuzzy controllers.

Summary

The course is focused on improvement of knowledge of doctoral programme students in the field of fuzzy sets mathematic and fuzzy logic including its application in information and control systems. The following topics are discused: knowledge fuzzy representation in knowledge bases, aproximative reassoning based on fuzzy logic. The course subject can be prepared individually according to student´s doctoral thesis theme.

Lectures: Complex system modelling principles knowledge approaches. Extending of fuzzy sets theory Uncertainty and its fuzzy representation Extending of multivalues fuzzy linguistic logic Fuzzy linguistic models, analysis of Mamdani and Takagi-Sugeno fuzzy rules oriented models Extending of aproximative reasoning, inference algorithms Fuzzy expert systems, design methodology, application Rule base cognitive analysis Fuzzy control, design methodology, application Fuzzy controller properties and stability Intelligent knowledge controllers, architecture and properties Neural networks in control systems Genetic algorithms in control systems
